Constantine is recognized as “THE FIRST CHRISTIAN EMPEROR.”

What most people are not aware of is that while professing Christianity, Constantine maintained his devotion to the sun god Sol Invictus, the all-inclusive title given to the sun gods by the Roman Emperor Aurelian, some thirty years earlier.

Professing Christianity while practicing paganism, Constantine had the authority as the ruler of the empire to define a new Christianity-not the faith once delivered to the saints, but a new version of Christianity, lacking few aspects of pagan ritual.

Examining the evidence, there is no question that the actions of Constantine have had a great deal to do with the fact that many of the precepts found in contemporary Christianity, the Christianity practiced by most today, are actually based in pagan sun worship. These precepts can be traced, without a doubt, to the sun god to which Constantine was committed- To Sol Invictus, the Invincible Sun.

There is no doubt that Constantine considered himself a Christian, and by today’s standards, he would more than qualify. Within the writings of numerous historians, we find, attributed to Constantine, beautiful prayers of honor and devotion to Christ. His Christianity was not, however, the Christianity described in the Bible. He defined his own version of Christianity, which other than sacrifice and the consultation of oracles, contained practically all of the elements of the pagan sun worship that he was familiar with.

In the book of Matthew, Jesus warned that many people who call Him Lord will not enter into the kingdom of heaven – only those who do the will of His Father which is in heaven.

Is the Christianity you practice based on that described in the Bible or the traditions of men that can be traced directly to the pagan sun worship practiced by Constantine? I encourage you to do a little research. You might be surprised by what you learn.

Earnestly contending for the faith once delivered to the saints,

  1. If I’m not mistaken JESUS is a name given by the English translators, but His real name was YESHUA…GOD the FATHER’s name was YAHWEH.
    Isn’t this correct?
I don’t believe in the trinity per se…Isn’t that a Catholic teaching from the HRCC?
    GOD was the FATHER,
JESUS was the son of GOD, and
The HOLY SPIRIT was to come after JESUS departure and be the “comforter” that would lead us into all truth…
JESUS said many times in scripture that He wasn’t able to do anything without the help from the FATHER (His FATHER GOD).
He did say, “the FATHER and I are one”, but I do believe He meant in Unity, in Spirit, in Agreement with one another. They saw eye to eye, were on the same page and saw everything through the same lenses.
In Genesis we read, “Let us make man in our image”. That must have been GOD speaking to JESUS who was with Him in the Heavenly place. I assume Angels were also there.
Also about the tower of Babel, it says, “Let us go down and confront them”. Again GOD speaking to JESUS. He was present with GOD before the world was, before Adam was created, JESUS was with the FATHER GOD>

When JESUS went to the Garden to pray to the FATHER, He had said, “FATHER, take this cup from me, if it be thy will, but if not thy will be done.” JESUS speaking to the FATHER GOD, praying to Him up in Heaven on the throne. JESUS wouldn’t have been praying to Himself, He was speaking directly to GOD the FATHER. They must have been two. GOD was a “spirit”, and JESUS became a mortal flesh and blood human soul.

Input would be welcome, and thank you for your time.

    1. Remember when Christ was baptized and the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove? John 1:32 I saw the spirit descending from heaven like a dove and it abode upon him. It goes on verse 33 ………upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit (yes capitalized) descending and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. Also Matthew 3:16. And Jesus when he was baptized went straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him and he saw the spirit of G-d descending like a dove and lighting upon him: 17: and lo a voice from heaven , saying This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. There are many other references to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost.

I pray that this helps your understanding.

  2. It’s a shame that people refuse to do their own research. Even within churches who practice more basic Biblical Christianity there are departures such as the insistence of the tithe. Research that subject paying especial attention to the favorite reference Malachi chapter 3. Then read the first 2 chapters, see what you think. Then check the references to tithe, spoils, storehouse, etc…

  3. Richard, I love your videos!!!! And I love the ministry!
And I have learned that the early church was All Jewish until Constantine threw them and Gods biblical feasts and the Sabbaths out .somehow the guy thought that Jesus was Mithras and thus incorporated pagan ways into Christianity. It was a shame but obviously the Lord allowed it maybe so Gentiles could come in? I’ve also noticed that many believers are returning to our Hebrew roots and the greater understanding that we get when studying the NT! For me, I never realized that there was more! Best wishes in the Messiah in all you for!
